Apology at 2 AM: Justin Baldoni’s Emotional Voice Note to Blake Lively Revealed

A dramatic development has emerged in the ongoing legal dispute between actress Blake Lively and director Justin Baldoni. A recently surfaced voice message from Baldoni reveals a heartfelt apology to Lively for his initial response to her changes to a pivotal rooftop scene in the film “It Ends with Us”.
In the six-minute voice note, recorded at 2 am, Baldoni acknowledges his imperfections and expresses regret for offending Lively. He pledges to always apologize and make amends when he wrongs someone. The apology comes amidst a $400 million lawsuit filed by Baldoni against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, which includes a text exchange where Lively expressed disappointment with Baldoni’s reaction to her edits.
Baldoni also reflects on the challenges of building a relationship with Lively through text and voice notes, admitting that his strengths lie in in-person interactions. He expresses his desire to spend time with Lively, believing that face-to-face communication will help improve their chemistry, which he thinks has been present from the start.
The feud between Baldoni and Lively began in December with Lively’s complaint of sexual harassment and retaliation against the director. The two are now embroiled in a federal court battle, with Lively suing Baldoni for harassment and retaliation, and Baldoni countersuing Lively and Reynolds for defamation and extortion. A preliminary hearing is set for February 3, with a potential trial date as early as March 2026.
