Swati, a resident of Gaya, Bihar, has exemplified determination and perseverance by achieving a significant milestone. A decade after her marriage to Saurabh Kumar, who works in Mumbai, she successfully passed the District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) exam conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Swati’s achievement is all the more remarkable considering her marital responsibilities.
Daughter-in-law of Pushpa Devi, a council member in Gaya’s Fatehpur Nagar Panchayat, Swati’s success has brought immense joy to her family and inspired the entire state. The DPRO position holds great importance in bridging communication between the government and the district.
Her journey towards success began in 2020 when she commenced her preparations for the BPSC exam, alongside managing household duties and caring for her family. Her husband, Saurabh Kumar, commended her dedication and hard work during this period. Each family member supported Swati wholeheartedly in her pursuit, and her achievement filled them with pride.
Swati’s educational journey started with Class 10 at the National Institute of Open Schooling in Gaya, followed by Class 12 at Gyan Bharti School. She pursued her graduation and post-graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in Indore. Fatehpur town became her home after marriage.
