Delhi, India – Dr. Bina Modi, the Chairperson of Modi Enterprises, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Outstanding Business Woman of the Year – 2023’ by Shri Rajnath Singh, the Hon’ble Defence Minister of India. The accolade, presented at a distinguished Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) conference themed ‘Strengthening Indo-US Relationship in Amritkal-Aatmanirbhar Bharat,’ acknowledges Dr. Bina Modi’s remarkable contributions to the industry.

Expressing her gratitude, Dr. Bina Modi emphasized the responsibility she feels towards not only Modi Enterprises – KK Modi Group but the entire Indian industry. She underscored the need for sustainable business practices, advocating for initiatives that are beneficial for people, the planet, and profitability. Dr. Modi credited the success of the Group to the incredible individuals associated with it, highlighting the importance of empowering people and fostering the enduring philosophy of People-First within the organization.

As the Chairperson of Modi Enterprises – KK Modi Group, Dr. Bina Modi also leads the Group’s FMCG giant Godfrey Phillips India and India’s agro-chemical leader, Indofil, as the Chairperson and Managing Director.

Conference Chair Dr. Lalit Bhasin praised Dr. Bina Modi, describing her as an inspiring businesswoman whose trailblazing ideas have shattered the glass ceiling and paved the way for others. Under her leadership, Modi Enterprises – KK Modi Group has experienced consistent growth, with flagship companies – Godfrey Phillips India Ltd. and Indofil achieving record-breaking performance year after year.

Dr. Bina Modi has also recently been honored with ‘The Asia One Women Empowerment Leadership Principles Award, Asia, 2023,’ and the Outlook Business Spotlight Visionary Leader Award 2023’s ‘Most Inspiring Woman In Business’ accolade. Despite her numerous achievements, Dr. Modi takes particular pride in the recurring Great Place To Work certifications received by many of the Group’s Companies, aligning with her People-First philosophy.
