Elevate: Honda’s Splash in SUVs
Honda is preparing for the highly anticipated global debut of its all-new compact SUV, the Elevate, slated to be unveiled on June 6 in India. With rigorous testing conducted both in India and overseas, the vehicle was recently spotted in Japan, giving us a glimpse of its exterior features despite the thin camouflage.
The latest images reveal several noteworthy details of the Elevate. The SUV will sport sleek multi-spoke black-finished alloy wheels, a rear wiper, and rear reflectors. Furthermore, it will boast a shark-fin antenna and front door-mounted ORVMs, adding to its stylish appeal.
One striking aspect observed in the images is the tail-lamp design, which draws inspiration from the popular latest-generation WR-V, available in some Asian markets. Anticipated features of the 2023 Honda Elevate include ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), cruise control, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera setup, and LED DRLs, enhancing both safety and convenience.
The official teaser shared by the Japanese manufacturer showcases additional exciting elements, such as an electric sunroof, roof rails, and a large touchscreen infotainment system. Under the hood, the Elevate is expected to house the 1.5-liter petrol engine found in the City model. Honda may also offer a hybrid powertrain option, similar to the City e:HEV.
Honda Cars India, currently offering only two models, City and Amaze, aims to expand its portfolio significantly with the introduction of the Elevate. The midsize SUV segment in India has experienced robust growth and intense competition, making it a strategic move for Honda.
Get ready to be thrilled by Honda’s new compact SUV, the Elevate, as it storms onto the global stage, combining elegance, advanced features, and a dynamic driving experience.
