HYDERABAD, INDIA – March 13, 2026 – We Hub, Government of Telangana, proudly hosted the inaugural Fly High Women Awards 2026, India Edition, yesterday, honouring an inspiring cohort of women who exemplify leadership, innovation, and unwavering determination. This impactful event was a dynamic collaboration between SheSight Global and We Hub, shining a spotlight on “Women Who Rise Higher” – founders, leaders, creators, innovators, and voices actively shaping a stronger, more equitable future.
The evening, held at the esteemed We Hub premises, was a powerhouse of talent, intellect, and creativity, drawing over 100 nominations from across the nation. Out of these, 21 exceptional women were recognised as winners, and 14 distinguished individuals were celebrated as runners-up, representing a diverse age range from 16 to 70.
The esteemed CEO of SheSight Global, Dr. Chandra Vadhana R, despite being unable to attend in person, ensured her powerful presence was felt through a heartfelt video message, underscoring her deep commitment and the pivotal role she played in meticulously planning this extraordinary event.
Distinguished Guests of Honour included Jahid Akhter Sheikh, Director of We Hub, Uha Sajja, Associate Director of We Hub, and renowned Telugu film actress Tanvi Akaanksha. Their presence underscored the significance of the awards and the collective commitment to empowering women.
The event was masterfully emceed by Bhavani Gudidhena, with captivating performances by guest artists Dia Roy Chowdhury and Sushma Chitta, adding a vibrant artistic flair to the celebrations.
The triumphant winners who graced the stage included: Sneha Khanwelkar, Haseeba Tanveer, Dr. Shrilakshmi Desiraju, Sushma Chitta, Swetha Lagisetti , Priyanka Tare, Vanshi Tiwari, Ananya Saxena, Tvn. Padmavathi, Volunteer Emergency Response Service (VERT), Poonam Dhingra, Dr Nikhila Bhagavatula, Harleen Bagga, Sridevi Edupuganti, Shaik Vahidas, Kotha Sripriya, Vidya Ramesh, Nidhi Singh, Praveen Kumar, and Jaya Priyankha Raghuraman.
The accomplished runners-up were: Dr. Rachanaa Datey, Divya Poosala, Ravalika Medipally, Aishwarya Iyer, Sirisha Arza, Dr. Deepa Awasthi, Vujjini Janaki, Aishwarya Varma, Anandi Gaurav Sharma, Vijayeta Tirkey, Viswapriya NR, and Taniya Biswas.
Special awards were also presented to two outstanding We Hub entrepreneurs, Shravanthi garu and Uma Devi, recognizing their innovative spirit and contributions.
Anamika Chakravorty, Surangama Guha, and Sujatha Nair attended the event on behalf of SheSight Global.
