If pictures could speak, they’d tell you a tale,

Of a sweet little girl in an innocent age.

Unexposed still to the vagaries of life,

She looked at the world with awe in her eyes.

Slowly and quietly the seeds were sown,

Of limiting beliefs and rules unknown.

And the little girl who was full of hope,

A woman she became, hushed and unsure.

It’s time for change, don’t you agree?

And raise little girls, happy and carefree.

For if pictures could speak a thousand words,

May it continue to tell only happy tales.
