The Yonex Sunrise 30th Smt Krishna Khaitan Memorial All India Junior Ranking Prize Money tournament, scheduled from November 14 to November 20, is expected to witness intense competition, with more than 1,150 players, including notable junior talents, confirming their participation. Among the frontrunners in the girls’ U19 category are Junior national champion Anmol Kharb from Haryana and Under-17 national champion Tanvi Sharma from Punjab, who also secured a silver medal in the Asian Under-17 Junior Championships.

The qualifying rounds are set to take place from November 14 to 16 at the Multi-purpose Hall of the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex.

In the mixed doubles U-19 category, the tournament has a history of showcasing emerging talents, with previous winners including renowned players like Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu. The tournament has served as a stepping stone for many junior players, with past champions making a ranking mark on the international stage.

Gian Chand Gupta, speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, is slated to be the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the championship.
