“The Woman King” is an upcoming film, on the Indian OTT platform 2023, and as such, it is not possible to provide a feminist analysis of the movie at this time. However, based on the information available, a feminist analysis could potentially focus on the representation of women in positions of power, the exploration of gender roles and expectations, and the portrayal of female agency and autonomy. The film’s plot, which follows the story of a female warrior in 18th-century Africa, suggests that it may offer a unique perspective on issues of gender and power. Once the film is released, a feminist analysis can be conducted to evaluate its treatment of these themes and how it contributes to the larger discourse on gender equality and women‘s empowerment.
