Mrs. World Winner 2022: Sargam Koushal

India feels proud of its daughter Sargam Koushal. Finally after 21 years of waiting it’s time when India’s Sargam Koushal beauty queen from Jammu and Kashmir wins the title of Mrs.World 2022 and brings back the crown to home India. Sargam 32, is a former teacher. She is originally from Jammu and Kashmir but lives in Mumbai with her husband Aditya Manohar Sharma, an Indian Navy officer. Mrs. World’s 2022  event took place on December 18, 2022, at a gala event in Las Vegas, United States. Before Sargam Koushal, ‘Aditi Govitrikar’, an Indian actress, physician, and former model, had become the first Indian woman to win the Mrs. World title in 2001.  After the beautiful achievement and success, Sargam has shared stunning glimpses from the same that is simply unmissable. 

In the glimpses, Sargam was seen wearing a heavily-embellished pink body-hugging dress that features a deep V-neck. She completed her look with diamond earrings and looked super enthusiastic while receiving the crown. Sharing it, she wrote:-

“The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we have the CROWN back!” 

The most prestigious award ceremony was also graced by many eminent artists from India, shared Sargam Koushal. Soha Ali Khan, Mohammad Azharuddin, Vivek Oberoi, couture designer Masumi Mewawalla and Former Mrs. World, Aditi Govitrikar were also the part of Jury panel. 

Following Mrs. India win, Sargam thanked her husband, crediting him as “the man who made this moment possible”. She also posted on her Instagram post that:- “You’ve not only given me wings but been the wind under them. You’ve transformed this small-town girl and turned her into a star. You give me the confidence to achieve all that is out there. You’ve always encouraged me to put my dreams first and like a wallflower, you just watch — watch me shine,” dedicating to her husband.

 She wrote about her father that, the core motive, the cause of it all, is this man — my father. Since I was a little girl, he always told me, “You’re different, I see it in your eyes. You’re meant for greater things in life. Things that people wish to achieve, but don’t have the courage to. You have that courage in your heart and the fire in your belly even as a little girl.”
