(Just Kidding, It’s About Empowering Women!)

Hey there, fabulous SheSight readers!

So, picture this: I’m lounging on my king-size bed, surrounded by a small library of books, sipping coffee, and thinking, “Wow, I’ve really made it!” Then it hit me like a ton of bricks (or should I say, like a stack of unread self-help books?) – how many women out there can say the same?

Let me share my totally-not-over-the-top list of what I consider the essentials for a powerful life:

  1. A king-size bed and a room to yourself (because sometimes you need to spread out like a starfish doing yoga)
  2. A bookshelf that could double as a small fortress (or an escape route from awkward family gatherings)
  3. A bank account that doesn’t cry when you check it (no more anaemic digits staring back at you)
  4. Property deeds with your name on them (not just the “land” you’ve claimed in the office fridge)
  5. The power to make decisions about your own life (because the only person who should be writing your story is you – plot twists, cliffhangers, and all)
  6. A university degree (or as I like to call it, my fancy paper shield for life’s biggest falls! )
  7. A thriving business (where “thriving” means more than just keeping your plant alive)
  8.  A squad of ride-or-die supporters (who’ll show up with ice cream and motivational speeches at a moment’s notice)
  9.  A lifestyle that has your relatives wondering if you’ve secretly won the lottery
  10. A healthy body and mind (ready for both deep philosophical discussions and impromptu dance parties in the kitchen)
  11. A sex life that’s more exciting than the latest Netflix series (Yes, I did refer to the Bridgerton latest season!)
  12. A sense of purpose that makes Monday mornings feel like Friday evenings

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “CeeVee, did you just humblebrag your way through an entire list?” And my answer is… maybe? But here’s the thing – as I was writing this list, it dawned on me that these “essentials” are actually luxuries for many women around the world. And that, my friends, is not okay.

I’ll be honest, it took me years of hustle, more than a few tears, and an embarrassing number of self-help books to tick off all these boxes. There were times when my king-size bed was a lumpy futon, and my thriving business was a lemonade stand (okay, not really, but you get the idea).

But now that I’m here, I’ve got a new mission. No, not world domination (although, never say never). I want every woman out there to have a shot at this kind of life. A life where you’re not just surviving, but thriving, and maybe even having a laugh along the way.

That’s why we at SheSight are cooking up some exciting new initiatives. We’re talking programs to help you secure the bag, slay that degree, build your empire, and cultivate a life that’s Instagram-worthy in the realest sense.

So, stay tuned, my lovelies. We’re about to embark on a journey to make every woman’s life a little more fabulous. And who knows? Maybe one day, we’ll all be lounging on our king-size beds, raising a glass to our shared success.

Here’s to powering up, living large, and taking over the world – one woman at a time!

And hey, if you wanna be a part of this journey, come sign up for our Waitlist for the various SheClubs that we have in offer. Let’s dance in the rain as we march towards a powerful life! [CR1]

P.S. If you see me hoarding all the good books at the local bookstore, no you didn’t. A girl’s gotta protect her fortress, right?
