The Conjuction
Light years apart, they came close today
On the winter sols
They walked hand in hand;
Through the lifetimes they lived.
They left unturned no stone of the moments they built.
As they bathe in the eternal love,
She hesitantly proposed to him.
“I know you have been silent
Every lifetime we met
Still, I shall take the chance.
Will you be mine forever?”
Said she in a shiver.
He held her close, kissed her forehead
Smiled with a gentle yes.
The ring around her shone brighter than ever!
The Eternal lovers, He the Jupiter She the Saturn.
