Grapes belongs to the family of berries. Grapes as it is, is a highly nutrient rich fruit. But it is used in various forms for the health benefits. Having dried grapes regularly will give a boost to the iron content in our blood.

The oil from the grapeseed is renowned for its antioxidant content and beauty benefits. Grape seed oil comes from the pressed seeds of grapes. The oil is a by-product in the process of making wine. Once the wine is extracted, the seeds are pressed to take the oil out of it. Largely known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, grapeseed oil also contains high amounts of omega fatty acids and vitamin E—which makes it popular when it comes to formulating skincare.

It is high in linoleic acid, also known as omega-6 fatty acid, which in addition to fortifying the skin’s barrier and helping to reduce water loss from the skin, may help with acne.

The oil is also widely used in cosmetics as an emollient and moisturizers and in anti- wrinkle cream where  the  grape seed extract  helps prevent collagen break down. It is also useful topically in the treatment  of psoriasis and other skin conditions  such  as eczema.

Also remember that taking  2 glasses of red wine before bed can help, prevent and fight obesity with a greater ease.
