The White House has reaffirmed its commitment to working with India through groups like the Quad to advance economic growth and expand shared priorities.

The Quad, which includes India, Japan, the US, and Australia, aims to develop a strategy to keep the critical sea routes in the Indo-Pacific free of any influence. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated during a recent press briefing that the US is committed to advancing economic growth and expanding cooperation with India. The relationship between the two countries includes a strong bilateral relationship and trade.

Meanwhile, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman expressed her hope for a strong and peaceful global community built on the foundations of India-US cooperation. Speaking at a reception at India House hosted by Indian Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Ms. Sitharaman praised the efforts of Indian community members across America in advancing bilateral ties. Ambassador Sandhu also highlighted the efforts of Indian community members in advancing commercial, economic, and people-to-people ties between the two countries.

The US and India have maintained a strong partnership in recent years, and their continued cooperation through the Quad reinforces their commitment to advancing economic growth and shared priorities.
