22 tips for a fresh start in 2022

  1. Start a daily gratitude journal. Be grateful for small things and note them down
  2. Set new goals that are specific and actionable. Celebrate your progress
  3. Change one small thing at a time, in your life. Take each day as it comes.
  4. Find your passion/purpose and pursue it.
  5. Identify your challenges and find solutions. Embrace the change. Don’t resist.
  6. Make an I-wish-I-had-done-it-differently list. Refer to this to avoid repeating past mistakes, and to make better decisions
  7. Assign yourself a “worry time.” Devote yourself to worrying only during that period.
  8. Reduce unproductive time on social media or other distractions. Get 8 hours of sleep instead!
  9. Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Break unhealthy habits.
  10. Get in shape. Get active. Start with small exercises or activities.
  11. Be optimistic. Nurture a positive mindset towards life. Laugh more.
  12. Try new things, and learn new skills. Challenge yourself. Surprise everyone.
  13. Write down the worst-case scenario. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
  14. Surround yourself with supportive people. Let go of toxic relationships. Walk away from negative situations
  15. Get a makeover. Change up your wardrobe. Wear a smile
  16. Rearrange or redecorate your living space or office space.
  17. Go easy on yourself when you make mistakes. Stop trying to be perfect.
  18. Get back on track quickly. Don’t let failures/weaknesses keep you down. Move on.
  19. Take rejections/criticism as a way to improve or re-visualize your goals
  20. Take charge of your life. You don’t need validation from everyone, do what you feel is right.
  21. Get organized. Make changes to your life to align with your goals. Get rid of unwanted material things.
  22. Be proud of your achievements. Turn a deaf ear to negative comments.
