22 tips for a fresh start in 2022
- Start a daily gratitude journal. Be grateful for small things and note them down
- Set new goals that are specific and actionable. Celebrate your progress
- Change one small thing at a time, in your life. Take each day as it comes.
- Find your passion/purpose and pursue it.
- Identify your challenges and find solutions. Embrace the change. Don’t resist.
- Make an I-wish-I-had-done-it-differently list. Refer to this to avoid repeating past mistakes, and to make better decisions
- Assign yourself a “worry time.” Devote yourself to worrying only during that period.
- Reduce unproductive time on social media or other distractions. Get 8 hours of sleep instead!
- Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Break unhealthy habits.
- Get in shape. Get active. Start with small exercises or activities.
- Be optimistic. Nurture a positive mindset towards life. Laugh more.
- Try new things, and learn new skills. Challenge yourself. Surprise everyone.
- Write down the worst-case scenario. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
- Surround yourself with supportive people. Let go of toxic relationships. Walk away from negative situations
- Get a makeover. Change up your wardrobe. Wear a smile
- Rearrange or redecorate your living space or office space.
- Go easy on yourself when you make mistakes. Stop trying to be perfect.
- Get back on track quickly. Don’t let failures/weaknesses keep you down. Move on.
- Take rejections/criticism as a way to improve or re-visualize your goals
- Take charge of your life. You don’t need validation from everyone, do what you feel is right.
- Get organized. Make changes to your life to align with your goals. Get rid of unwanted material things.
- Be proud of your achievements. Turn a deaf ear to negative comments.
