The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 results for the year 2023 have been declared, with a Delhi girl Daksayani Chandra, a student of the school from Vasant Valley School topping the exams with 98.5%. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 this year is 95.25%, which is an increase from the previous year’s pass percentage.

A total of 13,04,561 students were registered for the Class 12 CBSE board exams this year, out of which 12,40,902 were able to pass. The pass percentage of girls was higher than that of boys, with 97.97% of girls passing the exams, compared to 92.68% of boys.

The alternative assessment method used by CBSE to evaluate the Class 12 students included a combination of internal assessments, practical exams, and performance in previous exams. The results were calculated based on the performance of students in these assessments and exams.

The CBSE also stated that students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for improvement exams, which are expected to be held in August. The students can apply for improvement in one or more subjects, and the marks obtained in the improvement exam will be considered as final.

The CBSE Class 12 results have been impressive, considering the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The board has ensured that the students’ academic progress is not hampered by the pandemic and has provided a fair assessment system to evaluate their performance.
