Indian Railways Announces 9,500+ Constable and Sub-Inspector Vacancies in RPF Recruitment 2023

- Residents of Jammu and Kashmir (between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 1989): 5 years (Unreserved), 8 years (OBC NCL), 10 years (SC/ST)
- Central Government Employees with at least 3 years of permanent service: 5 years (UR), 8 years (OBC NCL), 10 years (SC/ST)
- Widowed and Divorced Ladies: 2 years (UR), 5 years (OBC NCL), 7 years (SC/ST)
Height and Chest Requirements: The Physical Measurement Test (PMT), serving as the second phase of the RPF recruitment process, applies uniformly to both constable and sub-inspector roles. To advance to this stage, candidates must first clear the initial phase, comprising an online-based objective-type examination. The height and chest prerequisites based on categories are as follows:
Height:
- UR/OBC: 165 cm (Male), 157 cm (Female)
- SC/ST: 160 cm (Male), 152 cm (Female)
- For Garhwali, Gorkha, Maratha, Dogra, Kumaoni, and other categories: 163 cm (Male), 155 cm (Female)
Chest:
- UR/OBC: 80 cm (Male) without expansion, 85 cm (Female) expanded
- SC/ST: 76.2 cm (Male) without expansion, 81.2 cm (Female) expanded
Educational Qualifications: To be eligible for these positions, candidates must have successfully passed their Class 10 examinations. Individuals lacking a Class 10 certificate will not meet the eligibility criteria for these roles.
