One of India’s most powerful stages for women who lead, build, and transform is heading west. The FlyHigh Women Awards 2026-27, presented by SheSight, will celebrate its West India Edition in Mumbai in July 2026, and nominations are open right now.

After an electrifying Grand Kickoff at WEHub Hyderabad in March 2026, the awards series is now on a national journey. Mumbai is the first stop, followed by Delhi in September, Kolkata in November, and the Grand Finale in March 2027. Each edition is designed to surface the women doing extraordinary work in their regions and give them the national recognition they deserve.

50+ Categories. One Woman Could Be You.

The FlyHigh Women Awards span an impressive breadth of categories, precisely because women’s ambition does not fit one mould. Whether you are building a home-based business or leading a listed company, whether you are a scientist, a chef, a civil servant, or a content creator, there is a category that reflects your journey.

Highlights across the awards include:

For entrepreneurs at every stage: Emerging Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, Homepreneur of the Year, Rising Star Startup Award, Micro Business Excellence Award, and the E-commerce Excellence Award.

For sector leaders and professionals: She Leader in Finance, She Leader in Technology, She CXO of the Year, Women in Real Estate and Construction, Women in Media, Journalism and Publishing, and Women in Healthcare Business.

For those driving change beyond profit: Social Impact Woman Entrepreneur, Sustainability and Green Business Award, Rural Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, and Community Builder Award.

For the next generation: Young Woman Founder (Under 25), Young Woman Professional (Under 25), and the Rising Star Startup Award.

For the trailblazers in culture, sport, and public life: Sportswoman of the Year, Woman Author of the Year, Woman Scientist and Researcher of the Year, and Woman Civil Servant of the Year.

There is also a dedicated FlyHigh Global Woman of the Year for women of Indian origin making impact internationally, making this platform as much a diaspora celebration as a domestic one.

And for the organisations walking the talk on gender equity, corporate categories include Best Gender Diversity and Inclusion Program, Workplace Equality Champion Award, and the Corporate Ally Award, recognising men who actively champion women’s leadership.

Why This Matters

Mumbai is arguably the most commercially diverse city in India, home to women building everything from fintech startups to independent fashion labels, from NGOs to media houses. The West India Edition is designed to hold up a mirror to that diversity and say: this is what leadership looks like here.

The Comeback Woman of the Year category alone speaks to the FlyHigh ethos. Not every woman’s path is linear. Some step back to raise families, navigate illness, or survive professional setbacks. This platform celebrates the return as loudly as the rise.

Nominate Now

Self-nominations are open, and so are nominations for the women in your life and networks who deserve to be seen. Visit flyhighwomen.com to submit your nomination or reach out to [email protected] for enquiries.

The women who get recognised are often simply the ones who had the courage to put their hand up. Mumbai, your moment is here.
