Oscar and Emmy winner Kate Winslet is all set to star in a new HBO series titled ‘The Palace’

Kate Winslet is all set to lead her fourth limited series yet another time with HBO. The Oscar and Emmy winner has signed on to star in a limited series titled The Palace, created by Succession writer and executive producer Will Tracy. 

The Palace tells a story of one year inside the walls of the palace of an authoritarian regime as it begins to unravel. Two-time Academy Award nominee Stephen Frears will be directing and executive producing this series along with Tracy, Winslet, and Frank Rich. Moreover, Seth Reiss, Juli Weiner, Jen Sprya, Gary Shteyngart, and Sarah DeLappe will be the writers of the series.

“We are honored to be working with this incredibly talented group of filmmakers on The Palace,” HBO Programming executive VP Francesca Orsi said in a statement. “The notion that Kate Winslet and Stephen Frears, two of our industry’s leading lights, are joining forces to bring Will Tracy’s wildly original, prescient, and dazzling scripts to life at HBO is a dream come true for us.”

After signing to star in and executive produce Trust, The Palace is the second HBO project Winslet has boarded in recent weeks and fans surely can’t keep calm to see their favorite star in this series.
