Malvika Bansod qualifies for the main draw of the Swiss Open Super 300

Indian badminton player Malvika Bansod has successfully qualified for the main draw of the Swiss Open Super 300 a BWF World Tour Super 300 tournament. The tournament will be held in Basel, Switzerland, from March 22-27, 2023.

Bansod, currently ranked 84th in the world, was among eight players who qualified for the main draw after competing in the qualifying rounds. She won her first qualifier match against Nadia Fankhauser of Switzerland in straight sets, 21-10 and 21-12. In the second qualifier match, she faced Yeung Sum Yee of Hong Kong, whom she defeated 21-16 and 21-14.
