Rhythm Sangwan’s stellar performance in the 2024 season continued as she claimed the top spot in the 10m Air Pistol Event at the Shooting World Cup 2024. Her remarkable display saw her achieve a high score of 98 points on her fifth attempt, while her lowest score was 95 on the final attempt.

Meanwhile, Manu Bhaker showcased her prowess by excelling in the last shot, scoring an impressive 99 points, securing a third-place finish. Both athletes have earned their spots in the final of the 10m Air Pistol Event at the Shooting World Cup 2024 in Spain.

Earlier in January, Sangwan demonstrated her skill by clinching the gold medal in the mixed air pistol event in Egypt alongside Ujjawal Malik. Furthermore, she solidified her position in the upcoming Paris Olympics by securing a bronze medal in the 25m sports pistol category at the Asia Olympics Qualifiers.

Rhythm Sangwan’s exceptional achievements have significantly contributed to India’s success in shooting, securing the country’s record-breaking 16th quota place for the Paris Olympics. Her bronze medal triumph in the Women’s 25m Pistol Event at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers 2024 was instrumental in attaining this milestone.
