A woman cop from Chennai is winning hearts all over the country for her active rescue efforts in Tamil Nadu that is under the deluge of heavy rainfall and floods. On Thursday, Inspector Rajeshwari carried an unconscious man over her shoulders and rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The 28 years old man had fallen at a cemetery in TP Chatram, an area that was covered with waterlogging and numerous uprooted trees. Inspector Rajeshwari reached the spot and without thinking twice, she immediately rushed the man to an autorickshaw. Lately, Government officers, activists, and netizens have been applauding Inspector Rajeshwari for her humanitarian labour. “No one has shoulders as strong as you Inspector Rajeshwari… Bravo. Helping out an unconscious man in terrible rains and rushing him to a nearby hospital in an auto is indeed laudable,” IAS officer Supriya Sahu tweeted.
Moreover, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday personally felicitated inspector Rajeshwari for her gallant efforts to rescue the man. In a message of appreciation handed over to her, the Chief Minister addressed that she had truly realised the importance of the ‘golden hour’ and had swung into action to rescue the man and rush him to the hospital. Inspector Rajeshwari’s duty, with the sense of commitment and compassion of the uniformed personnel were commendable. However, the man she rescued and rushed to Government Kilpauk Hospital, had died at the hospital on Friday.
Although, Inspector Rajeshwari’s actions are highly commendable. She’s the perfect example of an unstoppable woman, who’s committed to her duty despite the perilous circumstances. She has, therefore, inspired women across the country to become indomitable and fearless.
