Meet the queen of royal icing Prachi – financial expert turned award-winning cake artist

Based in Pune – Prachi Dhabal Deb, owner of Cake Decor India Royal icing art is storming social media with her edible art. 

It’s hard to believe what looks like brides from different parts of India are actually cookies baked by Prachi. The detailing of the jewelry and clothes is so intricate that it is tough to believe that they are edible. 

Prachi has been awarded as one of the most influential women entrepreneurs for 2019 by the Brajbhumi foundation and Women achievers of Pune by the newspaper group Lokmat. She is The Cake masters award winner, for 2019. She also won the Super Chef of the year 2020 award on Inspire beyond motherhood, a platform that cherishes motherhood and entrepreneurship.

Prachi is a two-time world record holder cake artist for the biggest Royal icing structure. For this world record creation, she was featured in the Incredible India cake magazine and was awarded Artist of the month at Worldwide Excellence Edible Art. She is also featured in Femina‘s most powerful women 2021 and the prestigious 45 under 45 Forbes India magazine.

Prachi has been a part of judging panels for many national and international cake competitions. 

She has received the honor to be on the prestigious Hall of fame Pune times mirror.
