Naomie Harris, born on September 6, 1976, in Islington, London, has carved out a remarkable career in acting, from childhood star to acclaimed actress. Her journey began at the tender age of 11 when she made her debut in the TV series Simon and the Witch in 1987. Growing up in a council flat in Finsbury Park with her mother, Carmen Harris, a Jamaican immigrant, and her fashion designer father, Brian Clarke, Harris’s early life was shaped by resilience and ambition.

Her early exposure to acting came through studies at the Anna Scher Theatre and Woodhouse College, eventually leading to a degree in social and political sciences from Pembroke College, Cambridge. Harris’s career took off with roles in notable productions such as Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later (2002) and the adaptation of Zadie Smith’s White Teeth.
