Adhara Pérez Sánchez, a remarkable 9-year-old from Mexico City, is defying stereotypes about developmental disorders with her extraordinary intelligence. With an IQ of 162, higher than both Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, Adhara’s achievements are astounding. Diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, she faced bullying in school but found her path to success.

Already a high school graduate at 8, Adhara is pursuing dual degrees in systems engineering and mathematics. Her story of resilience and brilliance has gained her recognition, including being featured in Forbes México’s list of 100 Most Powerful Women in Mexico.

Adhara’s thirst for knowledge led her to write a book, and she recently gave a presentation on black holes, astonishing her peers. Her dreams extend to astrophysics, and she hopes to work as an astronaut at NASA and travel to Mars. The University of Arizona has already extended an invitation for her to study astronomy.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Adhara is developing a smart bracelet to aid autistic children, showcasing her compassion and innovation. The bracelet will monitor emotions and help prevent seizures and outbursts.

Her journey resonates with UA President Robert Robbins, who invited her to become a part of the university community. He recognizes her bright future and anticipates her joining their space sciences programs.
