How Human-like Text Generation is Changing the Game

We live in a world brimming with technology where the progress of a country’s development depends on the utilization of human effort and technology. Over the past decade, we have surpassed our expectations and pushed beyond our limits to explore the vast realm of science.

Nowadays AI (Artificial Intelligence) is the most discussed topic being used in various fields. AI is used to automate tasks that need to be performed by human beings; let it be in the healthcare sector, education sector, or even in our daily life. Social media which is the biggest platform also has this technology. Everyone have accounts on social media, AI helps to write social post captions, analyze online conversations and provide relevant suggestions, reply to comments, give suggestion based on the post, and much more. And now here is another big model of AI i.e. ‘CHAT GPT’ developed by ‘The AI research and deployment company, OpenAI’.

‘Chat’ word means Chatbot. It replicates human conversation. On some websites, we may have noticed that there is always a chatbot present on the main page to greet our inquiries, and one can ask anything ranging from service requests, product information, email sending, or even connecting to human agents for further assistance if necessary.

‘GPT’ word means Generative pre-trained transformer. It can generate human-like text and resolve all our queries. It is a family of the ‘Language’ model which is then tested on a large collection of written texts. Deep learning is being used which is a type of machine learning and further has NLP i.e. Natural language Processing used for translation and text summarization. Deep learning is based on artificial neural networks. It can learn and adapt without any instructions that extract high-level data and predicts output.

Chat GPT is an OpenAI (i.e. open to everyone for use, so that it can benefit in enhancing the technology). It was originally released in November 2022. It has the power to resolve any critical technology issue, solve any coding problem, pass legal exams and it can even write code for any website. It is very easy to use like texting someone. For using Chat GPT one needs to go to chat.openai.com, create an account and start typing in the questions. Each prompt on the website has its thread which will continue next time also and remembers everything you asked earlier. For different chats, there is an option for a new chat.

Now there has been a major upgrade in the Chat GPT, which was earlier running as ‘Chat GPT -3’ and now has officially launched the new ‘Chat GPT-4’. The difference is in some features between the 3 and 4 models. ‘Chat GPT 4’ has an increased number of words that one can put in input and it was said in Chat GPT-3 sometimes it gets confused and gives false information but in the new model there is no such thing. Chat GPT 4 will be available to people who will have a pro version of the software and currently, there is a long waiting list for the same. Most companies have already started using Chat GPT models. Chat GPT also works on a model where it can suggest what your next word in a sentence can be. In 2019 Microsoft invested $1 billion in open AI, the tiny San Francisco Company and now it has invested $10 billion in Chat GPT open AI.

Spending a lot of hours summarizing topics, making notes, understanding critical topics, researching any topic, and many more ‘Chat GPT’ has made it simpler and time-saving. Chat GPT has reached 100 million active users as of February 2023.

To sum up, we can assert that the world has access to advanced tools and there are countless possibilities yet to be explored in the realm of technology.
