Kerala High Court Allows Transgender Woman To Join NCC.
The Kerala High Court, on Monday, while addressing a petition challenging Section 6 of The National Cadet Corps Act that only allowed males and females to enroll, allowed a transgender woman to seek admission into NCC. The fact that the NCC Act does not recognised the third gender cannot be a reasonable justification to deny entry to a transgender person, HC stated.
