Grammy-winning singer Falguni Shah, also known as Falu, expressed her delight after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York. Shah revealed that PM Modi loved the album cover and her new song titled ‘Abundance in Millets’. The Prime Minister unveiled the album cover during the meeting and praised Shah for her efforts to raise awareness about healthy and environment-friendly millets. He appreciated her for bringing people from India and the US together through her music. Shah and PM Modi collaborated on this special song, which aims to promote the benefits of millets in addressing world hunger.
The song features a speech written and delivered by PM Modi himself. Falguni Shah had recently won the Best Children’s Music Album Grammy and was surprised to receive best wishes from PM Modi. Following the meeting, PM Modi led a Yoga session at the UN headquarters to commemorate International Yoga Day. He then traveled to Washington DC for further engagements, including a State Dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. PM Modi is also scheduled to address the US Congress and participate in various interactions with CEOs, professionals, and the Indian diaspora.
