Indra Nooyi, a successful business executive of Indian-American descent, broke barriers in the corporate world and became an inspiration for many Indians. She was born in Chennai, India, on October 28, 1955, and grew up in a large family. Nooyi completed her education at Madras Christian College and later earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta.
To pursue further education, Nooyi traveled to the United States and attended Yale University. She worked night shifts and even took on a receptionist job to fund her studies.
