The G20 Ministerial Conference on Women Empowerment in Gandhinagar showcased a remarkable series of startup businesses led by women. Hundreds of startups, particularly in departments like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics, presented innovative products aimed at benefiting the public.

Among the exhibitors was Monica Yadav, who demonstrated kits that help children learn engineering, robotics, and coding. These kits offer valuable educational experiences, especially in rural areas, fostering interest in technology from an early age.

Additionally, stakeholders advocated for the use of AI and Robotics in crucial sectors like Fire Emergency Services (FES). Products showcased at the summit included rovers equipped with infrared cameras and water load capabilities for firefighting purposes.

Dr. Neelima Mishra, Director of a robotics company, praised the government’s support in fostering an environment conducive to the adoption of AI and Robotics in defense and emergency services. Her company has potential contracts with defense sectors and has developed rovers capable of target acquisition, with potential for further offensive applications.

The G20 summit served as a platform for these women entrepreneurs to display their cutting-edge technologies and contributions to the fields of Robotics and AI. Their innovative ideas and solutions are not only transforming industries but also driving progress in women’s empowerment, as they continue to break barriers and excel in traditionally male-dominated fields.
